Project Raag is an Indian Classical chillout album produced (recorded, arranged, mixed and mastered) by Vijay Athma (also known as Shoonyam).
The idea behind this project was to present Indian Classical music in a new light. This album comprises of seven Indian ragas recorded with various Indian Classical artists engulfed by varied ambient sound elements to elevate the melody and mood of each composition.
Creating anything meaningful requires many people & talents. Project Raag was no different – it required collaboration with many artists!
Alex Baba: Alexandre Brunelle-Garon has been living in India for the past 14 years where he has been studying Indian classical music with different masters.
